The 3D Metamorphosis In Coaching

As a coach, you have developed and implemented many strategies to grow your coaching business. Even though you've had some clients and some revenue, there is still something missing. Things are not running smoothly and you have this feeling that there is something else you must do to reach the success you have always dreamed of.

Even though you love your coaching, and you feel this is your true calling, you still need that extra element, that momentum, that buzz which makes it all worthwhile.

As hard as it may seem, maybe it is time to analyse yourself, and change the way you've thought, felt and acted up until now. If you really want to do something about it, to get more clients and increase your revenue, then this is a very good moment to learn how to prepare, allow and act for success. You must align your heart, your mind and your actions and make sure you stay on this path. When you work on something - create a programme, a product, have a session with your clients - you must feel in your heart and in your mind that this is the best thing to do.

Work on these three levels and you will soon realise that everything you do makes sense and brings all the results you want.

The first level: The heart
You may say you are an entrepreneur, that you make decisions logically, with your mind. But how many times have you felt deep inside that what you did was not right? How many times have you known that you made a decision although you didn't feel it was the right one? That's when your heart speaks. Listen to your inner voice whenever you make a plan, create a product or do something regarding your business. Do not always do things just because they are right or make sense. All these times when you don't listen to your heart you get more frustrated, and one day you will realise you are not happy with what you do and you just do things because 'you have to'. Take a moment and you'll find out that the truth always lies in your heart. This is exactly where all the answers are. Once your heart and your mind agree on everything you do, things come so easily and you feel satisfied, empowered, happy.

The second level: The mind
People say that a business is run with the mind, not with the heart. Yes, your mind makes strategies, organises your agenda, keeps track of everything. Make sure you let your mind do all that but not sabotage your business. Your mind creates your entire world and your daily state. If you let your mind create a bit of doubt about your abilities, your talents, your success, then you tend to believe it and find all the reasons why you shouldn't coach. Make your mind your ally and always think of all the positive aspects of your business, of your assets and all the good ideas you want to implement. Focus on the results you can achieve and your mind will take an active part in creating the world as you want it to be.

The third level: Action
You think of what you have to do, you feel it, but if you don't take action, then it is all a waste of time. If you decide to act according to your heart and if you align that with the right mindset, well, guess what, you will skyrocket your business!

Your mind and your heart can actually work together and give you all the strength you need, the right ideas and strategies. They help you find the right clients to work with and develop the best products and programmes to reach as many people as possible. Everything will be effortless and, time after time, you will have the satisfaction of another successful day.

This metamorphosis is a process, where there will be a battle between your heart and your mind, between your feelings and your negative thoughts. It takes determination and a lot of work to make your feelings and your thoughts work together to your greater self. But once you master that, you will realise that nothing can stand in your way, and you can create the coaching business you have always wanted.

Keep On Coaching, But Differently

Making a living out of coaching is not always easy. Even though you love your profession, you struggle to make yourself visible in the industry, you try every technique or strategy you learnt in coaching school, but that still doesn't help you get the revenue, the lifestyle and the satisfaction you have always wanted.

You have a client here and there, no regular income, you cannot find the resources to promote yourself and to find success. You become frustrated and start to doubt your decision about becoming a coach.

If you find yourself in this situation, it is time to change the way you coach. It doesn't mean you have to invent new ways, you just need to transform the existing way of doing business. It means using all your natural skills, talents and assets and develop new, effective techniques to finally step into the spotlight.

There are a few things you can do to change the way you coach, which will help you develop a successful coaching business. These techniques do not take a lot of time to implement or a lot of money for marketing campaigns. All it takes is your desire to succeed and a change in your beliefs, in your approach towards coaching.

1. Target a market
Targeting has turned out to be one of the main reasons why many coaches do not succeed in this industry. If you decide to target a specific market, it doesn't mean that you limit your options, that you will get less clients. It just means that you must identify the problems that particular market has and find the solutions to those problems. More than that, you must let this clientele know you are there and you have the solutions to their problem. Make your potential clients see you are the one they need and you won't even have to find them, they will come to you.

2. Become an expert in an area
Whenever people have a problem or want to achieve something, they want to turn to a specialist for help. This is the moment when you can become the expert your target clientele needs. The more you coach on specific problems, the more clients you will get. Your expertise and your success stories will make people want to work with you, because they know from others that you can help them succeed as well. Let's admit it, you cannot coach everyone on everything, so why not specialize in one area and promote yourself on the market as such.

3. Create a clear message
No matter what strategies you use to promote yourself, you must always deliver a consistent message about yourself and your work. Your message is your business card and must tell your clients about who you are and what you can offer. You need a clear message to make people come to you. Your clients feel understood when you understand them, you know their problems, their desires or their fears. It also helps you develop a better relationship with them, you can connect with them much more easily.

If you want to do something else in coaching, to improve your business, you don't have to completely change everything. Even though you implement new strategies or techniques, you must always use your pre-existing assets, your natural skills. Use what is good about yourself and your work and then make the changes you want to get more clients and increase your revenue.

Then you will see that you don't have to struggle to find your clients, because you have already found the secret to make clients come to you and pay for your expertise.

Do Your Best In Coaching

Do your best and then just let it go. That's what many pundits in the personal development industry would tell you. You may think this doesn't apply to coaching, as it is a business where you must be focused on every detail, on every client and every problem you must solve.

Yes, it sounds easy, but for someone proactive, who is used to taking action and being in control, it's not something you can readily accept. But this is not about losing control, it is about doing the best you can for yourself, your business and your clients.

Think of all the times when you've struggled and were focused on money, on how to get it, on how to pay your bills and get a client here and there. Yes, the right word here is 'struggle'. Why struggle when you love your coaching, when you joined this industry because you wanted to reach as many people as possible? Your coaching shouldn't be a struggle, it should be fun, something you look forward to every day. And even if there are setbacks, you should know that your final goal is success and these are all lessons to be learnt on the way, to improve your work and your abilities as a coach.

Make the most of your road to success. Improve yourself, your abilities, your talents, create new and better products and programmes to help your clients. Be the coach you want to be and take a few steps to improve yourself and your coaching.

- Answer people's expectations
Better yet, answer your expectations. Be who you want to be, and then you will be the coach people need. Do your best everyday to learn new strategies, new concepts, to learn from your experiences and from your clients as well. They are the ones who can help you improve your business, once you know how you can help them. Show your clients you are willing and determined to
get things done.

- Show that you understand your clients
Empathy is what a good coach has. You can learn in time what your clients need or want. Whatever you do, make sure you show them you know how they feel and you also have the solution to their problem. Although they confide in you, they share with you their fears, their hopes and dreams, they still turn to you as an
expert, not as their friend.

- Show you have the solution to their problem
When they come to a specialist, people want solutions and results, not just a shoulder to cry on. That's why you must learn how to help them and you must also show them through all your work - products, programmes, sessions that you do have the solution to their problems.

- Prove you can help them
Facts speak for themselves, and people will hire the coach who has a very good success rate. Give your clients examples of other clients' success stories and even tell them about your own experiences. The power of example works every time, and your clients will be hooked by your own story, by the ups and downs you have experienced yourself.

Now it is time to do whatever you believe can help your clients and your business also, but do not get hung up on the results. Once you know you did the best you could possibly have done, then the results will come. The more you focus on a need, the more you will not get what you want. Your focus should be on your clients, your work and your successful, fulfilling life.
